Solar Panel Costs
How much is commercial solar installation?
Commercial units can cost anything from £10K to 100K, wholly dependant on the number of solar panels you need and can fit on your roof. Other elements also come into the pricing such as the complexity of the roof and scaffolding required.
Please view examples of previous solar PV installations below, and to offer a rough estimate of price, costs are usually from £850 per KW. We will always be transparent on price, however we cannot set prices for a generic project because roof pitch, location of inverter placements, complexity of roof and other factors mean quotes have to be determined on a case by case basis.

7Formation

In January and Febuary 2025 we will be installing a large unit and batteries to a industrial unit in Corby, Northamptonshire. Given 7Formation have some manufacturing on site, they were looking to reduce their energy bills in the immdiate future, but they also are planning to expand on this side of the business. Having solar means their business plans are safeguarded against future energy hikes, and puts them in a really strong position to pursue their expansion goals.
7Formation won a grant from North Northants Council to match fund the solar intallation, and decided to invest extra themselves in batteries to enhance their savings even further.

In December 2024 we installed a small unit for Kettering Town Football Club (KTFC), in partnership offering this installation for free in exchange for an equatable deal on team sponsorship.
We are very proud sponsors of the club and so pleased that we could help support them in this way, and the club is already enjoying reduced energy bills and is hoping to expand their PV array in the near future.
